1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is HOTEL DONATELLA S.R.L., registered office at Via Antonio Gramsci 66, 08020 Posada (NU), Italy, tax code 01582220917.

For privacy questions email privacy@ristorantedonatella.it. For further information about our processing activities, read the Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies and tracking technologies are

Cookies are small text strings that a website may store on a user’s device and read during the same or a later visit. Similar technologies may store or access information on a device or recognise the browser for technical, functional, statistical or advertising purposes.

Session cookies are removed when the browser closes; persistent cookies remain until their stated expiry. Cookies may be set directly by our website or by third parties.

3. Categories used

  • Necessary: enable technical operation, security and storage of consent choices. They do not require consent.
  • Functional: remember choices such as language. Where they are not strictly necessary, they follow the preferences expressed in the banner.
  • Analytics: help us understand website use in aggregate. Third-party analytics cookies are activated only after consent.
  • Advertising or profiling: may measure campaigns or personalise advertising. At the date of this update, no cookie in this category appears in the active inventory. Any future activation will require prior consent and an inventory update.

4. Cookies detected

Name Provider Category Purpose Duration
cookieyes-consent CookieYes Necessary Stores the user’s consent preferences so they can be respected on later visits 1 year

5. Third-party services

CookieYes

CookieYes provides the banner and preference centre. Its necessary cookie remembers acceptance, refusal and granular choices. See the CookieYes Privacy Policy.

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics

Google Tag Manager manages website tags. It is not used to activate non-essential tools regardless of the user’s choice: analytics tags subject to consent must respect the preferences recorded by the banner. Google Analytics measures visits and website use through the cookies listed above, only after consent.

Google may process data in countries other than the user’s. Transfers are managed using safeguards provided by the GDPR. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Business Data Responsibility.

6. Embedded content and external links

Pages may contain links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, maps or other websites. A normal link does not ordinarily allow the third party to set cookies before it is clicked. Embedded third-party content may communicate data and use cookies under the provider’s rules; where required, such content is blocked until consent.

7. Giving, refusing or changing consent

On the first visit, the banner allows you to reject non-essential cookies, accept all cookies or make granular choices. Non-essential cookies remain disabled until a positive choice is made.

You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the Consent preferences button at the bottom left of the website. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. Cookies can also be deleted or blocked in the browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect website functions; refusing analytics does not prevent navigation or booking.

8. Legal basis

Strictly necessary cookies and tools are used to provide the requested service and ensure security and operation under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. Non-essential analytics or profiling tools are used only with consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code.

9. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or safeguards under Articles 44 and following GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information may be requested from the Controller.

10. Updates

This Cookie Policy is updated when cookies, providers or purposes change. The inventory was checked on 25/07/2026 against the public website configuration.
